Nowadays, it is a well-known fact that many companies test their products like cosmetics and medicines with animals before production to check their products ’safety and quality. A huge amount of animals are used in research purpose every year. Is it right for human beings to sacrifice millions of animals for testing purpose? Should animal testing be banned? Animal testing is a controversial issue and there is a heated debated about pros and cons of animal testing in society. People hold different points of view. As the article have mentioned before, animal testing should be banned because it is unethical, unreliable and unnecessary. We believe that it is unethical to make animals suffer for research purpose. Animals also have rights, they have rights to live in their own habitat, they have rights to eat and stay in the world. All creatures in the world should be born equal. Human are not superior and animals should not be inferior. Many animals are being tortured, they are sometimes being deprived of food, water and sleep and shut inside cages because of research. (Buzzle, 2011)Even worse, according to the statistic in 2015, there are 19.5 million animals are killed every year for research purpose in USA. (Statistic Brain, 2015)Actually human beings do not have the rights to harm or even kill other animals for research purpose. Inventions of medical products and cosmetic products are important, but one should always remember that progress in medical and cosmetic development should not build up at the cost of innocent animal lives. Human beings should not build their happiness on other’s agony. Animal testing is an unethical practice which should be banned.

The second aspect to point out is that animal testing is unreliable. According to The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in 2006, The result showed that 92%of drugs have positive result in safety test perform in animals show a completely different result in human beings
