It is also important to my boss that I am out of the office as much as possible while still keeping control over the required admin. Working Relations and Communication: My learning objective for Working Relations and Communication is to begin to build a relationship with the event organisers who use the venue for their events These companies usually use the venue for multiple events and as such it is important that they get to know who I am and my role within the company. This will mean interacting will all the event organisers who use the venue during the 3 month learning period. This is important for OVS (Opex Venue Services) as organisers will feel a lot more confident of the service we are providing if they know more about the management of the team and have a relationship with us. A raised profile with the organisers will also help us to secure goo feedback which is taken into account be the venue when our contract renewal is discussed. Influence and Persuasion: My learning objective for Influence and Persuasion is to look into ways to help the 4 teams within the cleaning team to work together as apposed to against each other. I need to examine ways to make this learning objective SMART.
