Central Idea: informative speech about the three type of eating disorder which are Anorexia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder and Bulimia Nervosa. What are the effects of eating disorders? 1. Physical effect of eating disorder on our life. a. According to the “national Association of Anorexia nervosa and associated disorder” website, physically is the clear effect that can be seen as it affects our physical and body b. Due to the eating disorder, the person can suffer from low blood pressure, dizziness, shortness of breath, broken bones more likely, sore throw, gum disease, and kidney complications, etc. 2. Mental effect of eating disorder on our life a. According to Jenni Harrold’s book “Mental Health” (Eating disorder pg 70); psychological effect of eating disorder can be more dangerous than the physical one because it cannot be clearly seen. b. Eating disorder can cause depression and discomfort to the patient, which affect his/her activities and life as they isolate themselves from the crowd by making excuses for not eating in public. Even sometime they tend to wear big cloth to hide they physical appearance.
