Explain how and why person-centred values must influence all aspects of health and social care work
There is no doubt that person-centred care values must influence all aspects of health and social care work. Health and social care should be based on person-centred values, and should be individualised as this is a law requirement (Human Rights Act 1998, Health and Social care Act 2012, Codes of practice for Social Care Workers, etc). I can support them to question or challenge decisions made by others by speaking on their behalf to do this I would need to know exactly what the individuals wishes are, and record it for them to sign. Another way I could support an individual to challenge or question decisions made by others are to encourage the individual to speak up for themselves if they
