Boeing is the world’s leading aerospace company and the largest manufacturer of commercial jetliners and military aircraft combined, providing products and tailored services to airlines and U.S. and allied armed forces around the world. They were still autonomous in many ways and did not fully integrate all systems in the company and used the current legacy systems that were in place in different ways.

Technology Issues
The technology platform that BAL is using at this time is a mash up of many programs that were purchased off the shelf and adapted internally to interface with the legacy systems that were in place. The current procurement system was very convoluted (caused by the systems that were

While this worked much of the time and helped provide BAL with more accurate and timely information and indirectly helped BAL enhance its productivity, would a complete system created just for BAL work better than a piece meal system that there were many steps and had issues with supplying customers with all the information they needed.
