Appropriate Place of Duty

This Plan of action is ambiguous and confusing. From the oral statements that were made from you I believe you wish for me to write a 1500 word essay on the (Importance of Accountability in the army) i.e.: appropriate place of duty, proper place and proper time. I Pride myself on being a soldier that is accountable for his actions at all times. The reason for this essay is, I did not follow proper orders and was not at my correct place of duty for work call, due to miscommunication through higher, but there is still no excuse for me to be undisciplined and not informing my chain. Like in combat when there is a "code Red" the soldier knows that at a given and safe time he or she should get to the rally point, predestined by his or her chain of command, that way he or she and his or her equipment can be accounted for. Knowing if something or someone is missing you could easy look at the accountability report to see if it was there before.

2. APPROPRIATE PLACE OF DUTY. Being at the appropriate place of duty at the correct time is a part of being dependable and reliable, respectable soldier. Being at the right place at the right time is particularly important, reason being is to make certain orders are carried out and to ensure a steady opt tempo. When a soldier is late or perhaps does not report at all to a place at the time ordered. That effectively compromises and diminishes the efficiency of which the task is to be completed. A Soldier's consistency begins with his ability and discipline for being where he is ordered to be when he is ordered to be there. As simple as this task sounds it is often times the most difficult to achieve one hundred percent efficiency. Once again discipline comes into play as a major contributing factor, as well as infinite variables as one might imagine. However, one's; discipline, accountability, motivation, fortitude, integrity, respect, and duty can increase punctuality to near perfect levels. Of course a bit of good fortune doesn't hurt either.
