However, a destination should also avoid circulation of inauspicious publications that show negative representation of the destination during natural crisis period. The recommendation framework was developed by reviewing the literature on destination, place and service branding. Destination branding model is tested through the case study examples and key findings are suggested for Haiti for the implementation. The multiple case study approach is the most appropriate for this particular business research. Because, while answering to the research question using the case studies which are similar to the Haiti earthquake will be the best way to achieve research objectives. The following case studies are chosen to be analyzed and learned from their practices to improve the tourism sector:
- Impacts of no-escape natural disaster on tourism: a Case study in Taiwan;
- Tsunami Reconstruction in the Maldives: a Case study of community participation and social action;
- Tsunami recovery: a case study of Thailand's tourism;
These cases particularly, the case study from Maldives is about the role of community participation and social action, whereas, the case study from Taiwan represents very identical disaster – earthquake in Taiwan in 1999 and studies proper ways of positively changing trip decisions of the tourists, Huan et al.
