Understanding The Impact of Acquired Brain Injury on Individuals Define acquired brain injury.
(ABI) It is a brain injury damage caused by the events after birth, rather than as part of genetic or congenital disorder. It affects cognitive, physical, emotional, social or independent functioning can result from either traumatic such as physical trauma due to accidents, falls, assaults.

Describe possible causes of acquired brain injury.
Trauma to the head, Brain tumors, strokes, Cerebral hemorrage, Hydrocephalus, Brain aneurysms.

It is even simpler to learn than the deafblind manual alphabet, but will be a slower method to use. Trace each letter with your finger, in block capitals, on the palm. Finger spelling - Fingerspelling is a method of spelling words using hand movements. Fingerspelling is used in sign language to spell out names of people and places for which there is not a sign. Fingerspelling can also be used to spell words for signs that the signer does not know the sign for, or to clarify a sign that is not known by the person reading the signer.
Word/Picture Boards - A picture, word, painting of any object or figure on a shaped board, such as a fierce dog in a garden, a bird on a balcony, or a porcelain bowl on a bookcase. This conceit is to help those that can not communicate and they used these items to help them.
