First, the direct manager should conduct a phone interview to determine if the candidate's experience, career interests and attitude fit Cedar Tech. During the face-to-face interview, the direct manager will review the job description with the candidate. Then the management team and the vice president should be brought in to assess the candidate and how he or she will fit into the company to meet Cedar Tech's objectives. If all levels of management are in agreement, then the candidate should be given a 16PF Assessment Test through Lighthouse Consulting (Lighthouse Consulting Services, LLC, 2012). This online test measures the "Work-style" traits of the person taking the test. The HR coordinator will be emailed the results, and if the standards meet the new metrics of Cedar Tech, then the candidate should be hired.

Learn Committee
A learning committee helps to encourage learning and creates synergy. Employees can pool their thoughts and ideas to solve problems (George & Jones, 2012 p. 495). The purpose of implementing this committee is to foster a learning environment by ensuring the scheduling of appropriate training, offering individual training, and the documentation of procedures to help train staff understand the current ways of doing things is being documented.
