The Fit Stop’s goals for the compensation system should begin by first identifying the desired outcomes for the organization: * The Fit Stop wants to sell a wide range of training, fitness conditioning and exercise equipment to equipment to the general public. * The Fit Stop wants to specialize in this equipment and to provide customers with personalized advice geared to a customers’ specific training or conditioning needs, not available through their competition.
To accomplish this “The Fit Stop’s” reward and compensation system must: * Promote achievement of Fit Stop’s goals: * It must add the most value to the organization, after considering all its costs * Support the organizations strategy and structure * The Fit Stop needs to attract and retain highly qualified employees for each store * The Fit Stop needs to promote employee desired behaviors: * Employees must be highly motivated, trained and knowledgeable with strong customer services
