My Core Values
As I have grown as an adult and moved further towards success in my life, I have always maintained a guided structure to achieve goals and tasks that challenge me. I call these my “Core Values”. This is a strict regimen or a belief system that I have instilled into my everyday practice to complete any task that presents itself. Although not perfected, I have found this method to be quite successful. My work ethic, responsibility, and my drive to further my education and knowledge have never failed me. My last “Core Value” which is the one that I have found difficult at times, is to always continue to further my knowledge. Most of a person’s intelligence comes from learning. Even though we like to think we know everything the second we turn sixteen. I’ve never heard of anyone being too smart. I realized that to become a completely successful adult, I would have to keep furthering my education. Not only by going to college, but just by not being afraid to ask questions in my everyday operations. Whether at school, home, work, or in the store I found that the only way to be more knowledgeable about anything is to inquire about the object or situation. The difficulty I found with my last “Core Value” was that sometimes I thought I knew everything about something, even when that wasn’t the case. There are times when somebody might be teaching you something that you already know. It’s human nature to just give that person half your attention while you say to yourself that you already know it, so why should I listen. Truth is, the person that is teaching you isn’t doing it for their benefit, they are only trying to help you. So listen, you might learn something new.
In conclusion, my “Core Values” have helped me tremendously in my everyday life, past success, and future success. They have also allowed me to meet my wonderful husband and find my beautiful home. Although there have been many bumps in the
