Strength is that part of your intellect or nervous system that is more effective and productive than other parts. Throughout your experience of life, your actions or reactions drive different thoughts, behavior and emotion in your brain. The requests that are processed more efficiently and rapidly are known as your strengths. Nowadays, strengths-based approaches to work and life are gaining a lot of popularity and often they are used to improve leadership and create more productive and efficient work teams.

My next strength is Focus and the report says that, “People who are especially talented in the Focus theme can take a direction, follow through, and make the corrections necessary to stay on track. They prioritize, and then act” (Rath). This description fits very well to my persona, because I am a focus driven person and I always prioritize my tasks. In other words, until I do not complete a required job any optional tasks get less attention. This talent allows me to stay focus on my future goals and strive for a better tomorrow.
My Focus strength naturally leads to my third strength theme, which is Futuristic. Tom Rath describes this talent as: “People who are especially talented in the Futuristic theme are inspired by the future and what could be. They inspire others with their visions of the future” (Rath). The author suggests that Futuristic people should have personal conversations with Thinkers which will help them to expend their future plans.
I believe that Futuristic has helped me a lot to become who I am and it will keep helping me in the future. For example, my futuristic strength assists me to set clear goals and follow them until their completion. I tend to have a perfect visualization of what an achieved goal should look like at any given moment and I never give up until I am fully satisfied with the result.
