The mission, values and key objectives of an organisation and assess the influence of stakeholders

Mission, values and key objectives are of high significance to any organisation. An organisation will state a mission that will describe the function or role it aims to provide in the form of products or services. Although the focus is long term it puts perspective on the short term so that the long-term goals can be met. The values or beliefs of an organisation are basically how they want to be perceived in the way that the organisation conducts itself. It’s important for the organisation to do this to stop the customer going to a competitor for the same product or service. The customer’s objectives are normally met to an extent, products and services are purchased and the quality they receive is usually reflected in the price they pay for it. In most cases the more money spent on a product or service the better quality they receive.
Customer’s objectives could conflict with the objectives of the shareholder, as there main aim is to maximise profit. They could want their prices to be high and the cost of their raw materials to be low in order to achieve this and this is the exact opposite of the customer’s objectives. Therefore it is crucial that the organisation gets the balance exactly right when it comes to this to ensure it keeps both parties happy in meeting their objectives.

The responsibilities of an organisation and strategies employed to meet them

There are several different responsibilities an organisation has all of which have to be met.
Social responsibilities could be seen as the requirements and obligations that the organisation has to people and the environment. These social responsibilities affect all stakeholders and are basically to try and achieve all there key objectives.
