Developing yourself as an Effective Human Resources practitioner
This report will demonstrate my understanding of the knowledge, skills and behaviour required to be an effective HR practitioner, knowing how to deliver timely and effective HR services to meet users needs. Reflecting on my own practice and development needs and maintaining a plan for my own personal development.

The feedback is immediate and decisions can be made quickly without delay. I choose to use verbal communication in any cases of problem resolution as this tends to help boost morale among staff members. The disadvantages with this method is its less structured; it’s informal and not as organized as written communication. There could be misunderstanding as it demands concentration and receptiveness from the audience.
I choose to use the written form for all my formal HR paperwork, agendas, meeting notes, grievances, salary reviews, all staff company emails and HR reporting as this gives me a true and accurate record of the what was said, I can then choose the best fit with effective writing skills, and techniques to convey the message to avoid delays, misunderstandings, confusion or distortions of facts. This also gives the recipient a chance to digest the information at their own pace and revisit the information that they do not fully understand. It also provides legal leverage in matters of dispute. The disadvantages of this method is, the feedback is not immediate, understanding of the message can be misconstrued and writing in the correct manor, tone and level can be time consuming.It is less personal as you can not use tone and body language to support the delivery of the message, Poor use of vocabulary and punctuation can also hinder the
