Marian is an ok college. I didn't get the best grades, so I didn't get accepted to many schools. I am not planning on returning to Marian. I am going to transfer to a different school. I would say most of the professors are decent. It's like high school. Pretty easy to get through. You do have to be careful because some of the teachers think they are still students themselves. They like to drink with the kids and one English professor has dated many. The same guy (he runs the english department) took up with the female married social work professor. The male literature professor is so full of himself that he tells people the history professor's wife has a crush on him too.
I guess being in a small town at a small school people just behave in sick ways. (Ok, the faculty at Marian works here because no other university would take them - they are as qualified as high school teachers) It's these distractions that are keeping me from going back to Marian. When I tell my friends about this stuff they tell me that my university is low-class. I need to get out of this tiny brained mentality and prepare for the real world.
