i was a former student at Karcher in Burlington WI and i have to talk about the school's lunch program. first off when the lunch bell rings there are 624 students in the halls at the same time which 300 of them are headed to the cafeteria. let me tell you IT IS A MESS there are big kids who rush to the front of this lunch line and don't Care one bit about who get's in there way. if you are ever the first kid in the line God Help You. i had to stand off to the side all of the time because...
The teachers take time to talk to parents and answer any questions one may have, The counseling aid is very helpful and is there whenever my child needs it. The idea of breakfast, which started i do believe a year or two ago was such a good idea because if a child is running late at home they can still get in a good breakfast.

The cafeteria food is good, but there are some foods that nobody likes. The cafeteria is very noisy so I think that we should maybe have some speakers in there, and have instramental music, so that there is somthing to listen to.:)
North Park is an awesome elementary school. Because of it's size, it is more of a family than a school. The current principal, Mark Zanin, is a great asset to the school. The staff is wonderful (I mean, everyone!). I am very happy that my children have the opportunity to attend this school.
