I have two students who attend this school. My only complaint is that I do not get quick enough communication contact with the teachers. I have left several messages with counselors and so forth and had to wait quit awhile for return calls. I would like to see the school using Edline so that parents could access student grades from home. I understand this is coing in the near future. This will eliminate the need to bother teachers for upates , etc.
The band program at the school is the high...
If only all schools were like this. I only wonder how it has changed over the years. Picture this, the Principle was also the 5th and 6th grade teacher. Those grades shared a single room. He "the priciple" was married to the lady who taught first and second grade. 1st and 2nd grade also shared the same room. The principle's mother was the cook for all six grades. The cafeteria also played double duty for the gym or any after school activity. The school only had at its time 2 other staff...
It's a great school and I'm going to miss it!!!
Our cafeteria is middle sized... we used to have booths in it, but over the summer of 2006, they tor out the booths and put in regular lunch tables... we have salad bars and stuff like that.
Great group of teachers. willing to work with the parents and children to get an education.
