I attended Gibbs College from October 2003 to June 2005 and was promised the best of the best; experienced and professional professors’, state-of-the-art equipment and computers, career forward training, and job placement. What I experienced was teachers who gave it the old college try but in most cases they simply seemed to just make up the curriculum as the semesters quickly moved along. The computers were anything but state-of-the-art and almost always unavailable. Career forward training was show and tell make believe mock-up of what you were studding. Job placement – nonexistent. I ended-up getting a job in my field of study two years after graduation with no assistance from Gibbs so called job placement program. Today I am making only $52,500.00 a year and still paying a $35,000.00 loan of which is only an Associate’s degree... Gibbs had a too good to be true promise with a high school environment and no focus on students or their education. I’m now worst off finically then before attending Gibbs…

This school promises a lot of things....when i took the tour..they said they will be getting new computers. this school cost as much as G.Mason and it got me nowhere...my credits wont transfer..and no one acknowledges Gibbs as an accredited school. waste of my time and money. Some teachers even admitted that this school was not a good one...it was too late for me to leave when i found this out. everyone in my class got jobs with "HS diploma" requierement. the worst part is that students that actually want to learn are recruited to this school and it gets them no where!
