Middle Canyon Elementary is a very nice school, clean, bright, new building, nice playground, nice library and computer facilities, and Miss Gloria at the front desk is the bomb! My interaction with the other staff has been positive as well. I actually really like the school, some of the teachers are better than others, but you get that everywhere. The other children that attend the school are a nice mix of good natured middle class kids. The only problem we've had with crime is bicycles being stolen that were not locked up.

I feel that the teaching staff and headmaster are lazy,I can only think of a handful of teachers that deserve credit for doing a good job,The disadvantage of that is my children do not have any of the good teachers.I feel cell phones should not be allowed in class,My daughter informed me that her teacher uses class time to talk on her cell phone,that is unacceptable!While other teachers feel it is OK to eat and drink soda during class time,Or other teachers feel it OK instill fear into first graders.I have three children in school,and three at home,I as of right now I'm not looking forward to sending my other children to this school to be put in the hands of teachers who don't care about the future of their student's.
