I was at the center for 2 years from 1983 to 1985, I was in the UAW paint and body shop. The teachers there were great and I learned a lot. After my training was complete they got me a Job in Cailf with Toyota. I worked there for 24 years until they closed it down in 2010. I then moved on to another Toyota plant in Indiana and have worked there for about 16 months now. Without the help from job corps and there great teachers I am sure that my life would have taken a much different path. Since 1985 I have been able to provide my family with a great life. I would strongly advise anyone to take advantage of this is they can. But remember you get-out of it what you put into it.
