My child spent kindergarten at Westbrook Elementary. The classroom was chaotic and unstructured. The teacher did not have control of the class. i took pre-apprentice plastering n graduated n left there straight into a job .i also got my GED there.i'm no longer in that field but i'm doing good for myself .I have a wonderful family a good job. although i'm not in that field i learned great work ethics and i learned alot about myself .i would never trade the my time ther for anything couse it was hugely responsible for who i am today an that isa good thing
I was at the center for 2 years from 1983 to 1985, I was in the UAW paint and body shop. The teachers there were great and I learned a lot. After my training was complete they got me a Job in Cailf with Toyota. I worked there for 24 years until they closed it down in 2010. I then moved on to another Toyota plant in Indiana and have worked there for about 16 months now. Hurricane Elementary School is a great school! My son attended from 2009-2012. He had amazing teachers with very high expectations. The school itself has laptop computers and ipads in each classroom for student use. The principal is very strict, but fair.
My little sister is getting bullied on a regular basis by another student and East Elementary does not seem to care about student safety and continues to let my little sister live in fear over this student who is much bigger than her and also a boy she has come home with bruises and everyone wants to ignore this I think someone should speak up about the no tolerance policy.
It is a joke why set that rule when it is not even forced.
