Last year our daugter was in kindergarten and we really liked the key card teacher system, which gives only authorized personnel access to the doors in the entire area. There is also an unrivaled staff from teacers right down to the crossing guards. We always make sure we dinate clothes as well, since the pta and teachers put free gently worn shoes and clothing out on for parents and students to take home after parent teacher nights, or SEP conferences. Middle Canyon Elementary is a very nice school, clean, bright, new building, nice playground, nice library and computer facilities, and Miss Gloria at the front desk is the bomb! My interaction with the other staff has been positive as well. I actually really like the school, some of the teachers are better than others, but you get that everywhere. The other children that attend the school are a nice mix of good natured middle class kids. The only problem we've had with crime is bicycles...
I think that Syracuse Junior High School is a great school. It has the IB program that I am in. I am also an officer. This is a great school.
