I'm a former student. No one cared about child abuse back in 1975. Frequent beatings with a belt affected my personality. Counselors didn't care. It was hard to attend school, especially when the well off kids made fun of the poor kids. Yes it happened. I dealt with it. I became an RN and finished my Bachelor's degree in another state. Don't be so quick to bully people when you don't know their home situation.

I believe the assistant principal Mrs. Harris at Lenoir City High School is on a very high horse since she has gotten her new position. (Mrs. Harris was a former teacher and is now a principal) I believe this has gone to her head. She got me in trouble for not hitting a girl, that punched me in the face, back. I did not hit this girl back for fear of getting in trouble and I ended up on 3 months probation, 12 hours community service, and had to get a physciatric evaluation because I DIDNT hit the girl back. I believe I got screwed by Lenoir City High School because not only was the principal for the seniors a new principal, but the rena cop was new too. I believe they both wanted to make a good impression. I have always been a good student, I have never failed a class, never gotten below a C, and even graduated early and started college at 17 years old. I believe if I had the money I would sue the living hell out of lenoir city high school because believe me I am not the only one that has gotten in trouble for something completly (for lack of a better word) stupid! Lenoir City High School is not a good school for kids, because they do not take enough time to investigate situations, they just want to get who they can in trouble as soon as possible and many times this results in them getting the wrong person in trouble.
