I am a Grandparent of a child currently attending school there. The teacher has always been pleasant and helpful. My grandchild seems to really like attending school there. My only concern is how can you not pass a child to first grade based on maturity. The child is smart and I say this because it is true, not because the child is my grandchild. I feel that if a child has abtained the required knowledge for first grade then the chid should be passed. I feel that maturity and social skills...

I was a substitute teacher at Bargerton Elementary school 1985-1990. I also worked in the cafeteria when needed. This was in the old building-the new building was just being built when my family left Tennessee. Some of my fondest life memories are of Bargerton school and the Bargerton-Cedar Grove communities.
