Nashville School of the Arts, located on 1250 Foster Ave., is one of the best schools in Tennessee. There are students and teachers that walk down the halls singing, playing their instruments, paining a mural, dancing, taping a short film for their theater class, or getting warned by the hall moniter that if they swing a light saber at her head one more time they will get written up. The teachers at Nashville School of the Arts all have very big personalities. They're fun to be around, and become good friends with the students. Yet at the same time, their classes are much more difficult than normal public schools. They go over more material faster, and throughout the year will review it a little.
Nashville School of the Arts does not have any sports. There are a few things, such as track and wrestling, that students can apply for. Students that apply for these sports are put on the MLK Higschool sports teams. NSA has a gym, and a few compact bows for archery club. There is also a pool room, but it has been turned into a storage area for all of the school supplies.
Principal boB is the best principal EVER. Good rules, but also gets along with the kids. Only principal you will come across who spells his name backwards, wears converse, has Kermit the frog for his ID picture, and wears Superman shirts. Every available space in his office is covered with either the Muppets, Superman, the Beatles, or other random interesting objects. His favorite phrase is "I am the walrus".
