Congradulations on a solid performance by your football team on Friday. Unfortunately I didn't get to actually see much of it due to the rude behavior of your spectaters. I am the parent of a Palmetto cheerleader and I can't help but wonder just what kind of thrill these people get from taunting these young teenage girls, even throwing things at them from the stands. I hope you are intelligent enough to be embarrassed to know that it got so bad that these girls actually had to be escorted to the rest room or where ever else they needed to go at half time. Then they had to be escorted to the bus. I don't think anyone needed an escort to the concession stand, because most of our parents had decided they had given you all the money they were going to.
And what purpose is the Spartanburg Sheriffs dept. If they can't do anything? That was they're response when asked to deal with the situation. Of all the highschool football games I have attended, my visit to Woodruff High was the most miserable of all. You can come to a football game at Palmetto and let you young kids have the run of the facility and never spend a minute worrying about this kind of problem. You may have won the football game, but when it comes to class, you're one big looser.
Woodruff is nothing but a hoodlum school that should be banned from all State events.
