I attended Golden Strip and I loved it. Everyone there was super supportive and helpful. They worked great with my high school and did everything they could to help me get as much education as possible.
I started out my junior year in Drafting and that didn't quite fit what I was wanting to do so I moved over to the carpentry department my senior year. Everyone was there for me when I transfered over and made the transition super easy! The school made sure that I was challenged. While I was in the carpentry program I did some of my school at Greenville Tech because the teacher didn't feel as though I was getting enough out of his class, so he moved me to a more advanced class. Doing this help with getting my associated degree much faster.
The great part about going to the career centers is that it is free!!! NO TUITION... It is hard to find good education for free. Well that is what you get here. Great advisors, administration, teachers, and students who WANT TO LEARN!!! The discipline at this school was awesome. The students here know that it is a priviledge to be able to go here and they don't want to miss out, that in return gives the school very few disciplinary problems.
If you are thinking about attending this or any career center please know that it will not be a waste of your time... You will get a great education at no cost...
