I can see that some parents really like this school based on other reviews. I however am one of the many who think that although the building is beautiful, the staff is rude, mean and favors the children from wealthy families. I cant even begin to list all of the problems I and my children have had with the principal, vice principal, and some teachers. They dont care much about doing their jobs, only collecting a paycheck, and based on the report that was sent home last quarter, teachers at this school dont make a piddley wage as most suggest. My husband works 6 days a week to make 35,000 a year ( a median income here) and the teachers make more than he does. Not bad for sitting back and not doing your job. They are mean, they are unfair, they are bullies.. parents beware..

SC schools do not have the best reputation; however, even in a rotten apple there can be a good spot! Hunt Meadows is a GREAT spot!
Along with caring, attentive, and well educated teachers and staff, Hunt Meadows is a privilged school. It has a record involvement rate from parents and local businesses. This I believe is a huge reflection on attention and dedication that not only the school staff has but that the community as a whole gives to the children that go to Hunt Meadows.
Parent involvement has been shown to have a huge impact on a child's education and that shows at Hunt Meadows! With time, money, and dedication things happen at Hunt Meadows.
The children are not just educated well, but cared for and it shows! Hunt Meadows has wonderful test scores, maintaining an average above SC's rank.
If you are looking for a school/school district where your children will have a great start to their future you can find it at Hunt Meadows/Anderson School District 1!
