I must admit coming to a new school, district and city was a great experience. Things were very different when we came to Richadland Schoo District. As my child progressed to W.A. Perry Middle School, I notice for the last two years some things have not changed. Cafeteria food is still not up to a standard for students. Prices have gone up but not the quality of the food. Teachers same to be non-reversible. You have some that come in contact with your child on a daily basis and can't open their mouths to speak to you when you come near them. School of Aerospace may have been contended to be a good program but I have not seen anything that this program is doing that connects with aerospace. The instructor has a bad attitude toward certain students alond with parents. I for one does not like her disposition. Local transportation should be provided to students that live over a mile from school. On rainy days, it's very difficult for students to get to school without any transportation. You do have students riding the bus that are not on a disabilty leevel that should be looked into. The PTO is very slow but has made great progress with the few members they have. Trying to get more parents involved will be a rough ride but we a determined. We need to show parents that they are welcome to enter the School of Sucess. Las but not lest, Mr. Holiday has his work cut our for him at Perry. He will find out that all smiling faces a very deceiving. Hats off to him and I wish him all the luck and sucess ar Perry for years to come. Whatever needed to help him on his journey, I will be there to help.
