I found with my metal detector a Class of 1946, Olney High School class ring. It has the initials T.J.E. It was found in Twin Lakes, Pike CO., PA. This was a boys camp in the 20's but was tourist cabins later, right on Twin Lakes. It was named Culin Cottages and later Shanee Lodges. I would like to see this ring returned to owner or family. Thank You. Lucie & Ken Brooks

I did love Olney..I didnt however graduate from Olney..I moved from the City - Philadelphia to the South when I was in my 9th grade year just starting out at Olney High....moved to Georgia...end of summer now in 10th,their school system is a little behind..now being in the 10th and didnt enviroment...I stayed a Jr in public school, after finishing my Jr year, I homeschooled my..Sopmore and Senior Year! 2 yrs in 1...
But I would have to say..I miss the windows - the flights of stairs the lunch choices,, we had no windows,,our high schools up north have such a college feel to them..the high schools down here -- Air conditioner,,But No windows! All one level Basically..like flat hospital! There was so much order in my life as a teenager in highschool - even though you "hated school" at OLNEY High it wasnt!!
