I have been here for all 5 1/2 years
EDUCATION:
This might be the worst school i have ever had to go to. I am currently an eigth grader at LVA and i am highly dissapointed. I came into the school happy that my parents enrolled me. Now i beg my parents every day to let me leave the school. They always say that i can leave if my grades are good but that's impossible. The teahers don't encourage the students at all. They also twist and manipulate things that have happened in the school. The Spanish program is pretty good but lacks modern teaching technologies as do all of the classes.
AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES:
NO SPORTS TEAMS!?!?!?!?!?
There are absoutely no sports teams. The closest thing to a sports team are fundamental courses in which eigth graders get to expierience the awesome joy of playing basketball and soccer against kindergarden students. WOW! Nobody enjoys a 14 year old knocking over, pushing, and humiliating 5 year olds. LVA has a 5 million dollar bank right now. It costs about $100,000.00 to supply pads for a football AND basketball team. We could play games and pratice at the local community center where we run the "fundamentals". I have presented this option to the school many times in many different forms but they never listen to the students suggestions. They've even made my parents not believe me. This is just a bad school.
