s.m.s. as we call it, was built in 1950. It is a rather large , school. there is an rumor that someone had had an accident, and drowned in the pool, they SAY there was a pool, but no one knows for sure. They say the door on the floor, in the gym, leads down to the pool. We have had some strange experiences in the school, people will knock on stalls, and no one will be there, you will hear things, but no one there. I can tell you alot about s.m.s.,it is said to be haunted.
this school is a great school. the staff is very well respected, the teach well and whoever disagrees does not appreciate good education

Lord High School is a school inside a correctional facility,the students are very well behaved because they fear the teachers power to evaluate them on a daily sheet on their behavior, attitude and performance. Additionally the teacher is frequently asked by the administration to comment on students on a variety of issues including medications, mental health evaluation and disciplinary action. Grants Pass High School is one the very best high schools in the state of Oregon. The teachers sincerely care about their students, and the staff work very hard at trying to support students. The School Board id very active in supporting all schools and students in District #7.
