The lunches here are AMAZING I love them!!! Although the first couple of weeks are difficult because the lunch room is CROWDED it gits easier. I'm new this year because I'm only a 6th grader but I am loving it so far there is only ONE thing I hate & that is PE (Physical Education) you have to run ALOT (Trust ME) But also the lunches are very tasty there are lots of different choices. Oh and there pizza taste like Papa Johns. =) Also you can make your own sub & sandwich!!! :) :) :)
I attended US Grant before it was the Generals. The Generals was selected in late 1957 in a contest. The school was still new and the teachers all first class. Some students caused some problems but for the most part were well behaved. I have not returned to Oklahoma City to see the school since leaving but pictures of the school are beautiful. I hope the teachers continue to teach at the above-average level as they did when I attended. They prepared one for college and for the outside...
oak crest has the greatest teachers you could ever ask for mrs martinez was my home room teacher she was AWESOME i hardly ever got to see mrs bowser but mrs carreys class my favorite part of the day we got to pet ty (our class dog) play wth miranda (the class hampster R.I.P) and got to do all sorts of fun stuff!!!
Highland west is the greatest school ever.It feeds into southmoore high school(est. 08) .Many teachers also work as coaches or departmental chairs , and all teachers are very dedicated to education.Highland west junior high taught me that no matter what environment a student is in , a student can still learn all that is needed for high school. The school is very big and nice for its old age.im a freshman at this school the teachers are very nice i love being able to know that i will be taught no matter how many trys it takes me to learn. we have a new auditorim it is beautiful it is the second level down from a perfesional theatre.
