I attended North Elementary school from k-6 grade. I had a lot of wonderful teachers my favorite was Mrs. Dawson. In fact, several years after i was out of her class and your school, my father passed away and Mrs. Dawson sent me a card expressing her sympathy and i still have that card today! Its traveled all around the United States with me. I was a less fortunate student who came from a less fortunate single parent home and the reason why i am writing this review is because of one teacher that particularly took every chance she could to single me out and make everyday of my 6th grade year miserable and humiliating! Mrs. Stafinski (I'm not sure how it is spelled) stays in my memory because of the way she belittled me and embarrassed me by singling me out because i was less fortunate. Now as an adult i still think about that and wish i would have had the courage to stand up to her but i was a child. I don't know if she is still on your staff or not. I don't know if this review would make a difference if she was, but the way she treated me and used my fellow classmates against me still weighs heavy on my mind and if it can stop another child from going through the kind of mental and emotional abuse i was subjected to by her, then it would be well worth it!
