I MISS SOUERS...THOSE WERE THE DAYS!!
Polaris Career Center professional career programs aren't professional at all ! I
attended their graphic design program and never received a syllabus and received my
textbooks 3 weeks after the first class started. If you're an adult trying to start up
a second career I'd go elsewhere such as the Cuyahoga Valley Career Center in
Brecksville. Polaris charges over $2000 for their programs and it really is very
disappointing. They don't back up what they're selling.
I was a student at Glenwood from 1958-65 (left 7&8 for catholic school). I was in the old building as well as the new. I remember being in Mrs. Lawrence's room in the old builing, in the basement. Every time there was a fire drill we had to climb out the window to clear the building. I was a crossing guard for 1 yr. (6th). I remember every teacher I had from kindergarten to sixth grade. I remember going to the "milk machine" to get milk for our snack every morning. VERY AWESOME childhood in...
I remember the good old days in the early 60's. I remember Mrs. Brenforter, the principal at the time. Mr. Roach, Chuck Peterson. I was there when the old school was around, then they tore it down and rebuilt the newer school which recently was torn down. I had good times there, had some friends. Karl Witmer, Darla Harris, Gary Canada etc... I was there from 1961-1969. Janet Amid
