As a former student of the school I know everything there is to know about the school. It is a great school! I was there for two years, and I had a great time while I was there. As a former soccer player for the school I know about transportation pretty well. EHMS has just got brand new school buses, with ac and central heating. I also had really cool teachers both years. The teachers are open to students being creative with their work too. I was also in the school band. The band director is really cool! To raise money we do fruit sales each year and they arrive in December, but anyway we also go on many trips with the band. For example: Solo & Ensemble, All District, and competitions as a whole band. I didn't do All District, but I did do Solo & Ensemble, which is a fun activity that happens at Pembroke University. My partner and I got superiors(which is the highest rank) there and after you are done playing for the judge, you are allowed to free roam the campus. My homeroom class was scinence, and my teacher made every one do a science fair project, because she is very serious about it. While I was in the science fair I won third place in my school and in my region, but my friends went on to state. Mine would have but my board got messed up, but thats not the point. The school has a dress code too. It isn't as strict as it was when I first started school there in sixth grade, because we had a different principal then. Now the dress code for girls is that pants/skirts must be at least finger tip length. For boys, their shirts cannot go past their fingertips, if they are they will be asked to tuck their shirt in. The cafeteria offers many varieties of food. They serve the specialty of the day, and on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday there is choice day. Choice day gives you other fooods to choose from such as pizza or burgers. There s alao a choice of salad every day. East Hoke provides everything needed for an A++ school. It is a great school that I highly reccomend!
