i think that elementary students should not be walking to school. i have an infant at home, i work a full-time job and her father walks her to school but in the winter time,he is unable to do so due to my infant. He even goes outside in the winter he automatically gets an ear infection, so we do not take him out. Therefore I have to leave my job to bring her to school in which she is generally late. So because of no transportation she loses out on some of her education. To top it all of when it comes to pick her up not only do I have to leave in the morning to bring her to school, I have to leave early from work to pick her up as well. To top that all off, when i get there it is over crowded and there is no where to park. what spots are open are in a no stopping zone and if you even think about parking there you get a ticket so therefore you are late picking her up. The one and only thing that i like about this school is her kindergarden teacher Mrs. Pyzik. She is very sincere and a warm caring teacher. She has helped my daughter with a lot. But if I had my choice she would not be here!
