As a parent of a child at EDMS, I am impressed with the enthusiasm of the teachers and how they relate the curriculum to the students in a manner of keeping interest and comprehension to their level. Teachers are willing to come in early as well as stay let to help children if necessary. The after school sports and clubs are wonderful. The Peace Club takes members to NYC for a cultural trip which is wonderful, as well as teaches children about cultural diversity, working together and about history. The Builders Club, Express Club, and more are wonderful in encouraging proper behavior and exemplifying understanding of others thoughts, feelings and generosity. Sports and clubs are great for self esteem and teamwork. EDMS offers so much if you simply inquire, clubs such as computer club, chess club, cooking, and so on do exist, just join! Encourage your child be a part of something good, the opportunity is here at EDMS.
