I'm a current student at Alfred E.Smith. Overall Smith is an average school. To highlight the beneficial areas of Smith is job opportunities after high school and guidance from teachers. What Smiths lacks in is informing the students on school policy. For example Smith recently added a uniform policy and till this day smith never inform the students on why they should wear the uniform or the uniforms cause. The deans in smith and school aids simply say wear your uniforms or you will get suspended.The deans never explained the purpose of uniforms or the actions behind the uniforms.Smith didnt ask the students if they wanted uniforms or what the uniforms should look like. Smith dictated the students on wearing the uniforms while never mentioning that high school are not required to wear uniforms. Smith does provide trade skills and abundant information on life after high school and what characteristics are needed in order to survive in the business world.

This school has changed my life...with all the friends and everything i have learned,this school became a second home to me the first year i was here.I think more kids should come to this school because of how much u can learn as well as what this school can offer along with oppertunities it has.
