Wow, a mouthful. Like life school/college is what you make it. Lowering expectations is no the route to take for those striving to for excellence. York fully prepared me and the quality of instruction was outstanding. One Professor I will never forget is Dr. Roy. She was of East Indian descent and cared so deeply for her students that she would not accept anything less than your exceptional performance. This is a great school. However, the dress code is a little too strict and so are the consequences that follow. But, over all it is a terrific school with tons of extra circular activities and buses at 3:30 and 4:50 to take children home after the activities. Next year will be my last :(.
Tryon Girls school was probley the best school i went to the teachers and staff were all really cool plus i got my GED in less then 2months
I agree with Francine. The principals within the school district seem to have the standard line, the children are our first priority. However, it becomes very clear that the principals do not want to rock the boat and want to stay in good standing with the superintendent and School Board. Tehy will defend their teachers to the end of the Earth
I attended Taylor Business Institute in the 80's. I earn a 1 year Diploma and at the present time I'm working with the
City. I have a good job with just one year that proves that Taylor Business Institute does teach their students to be succesful in their careers. I can grade them a 95% as a good career school. Thank You for the opportunity given to me.
