When I started 1st grade I was 5 going on 6; Hispanic little girl that could read and spell in Spanish. But Birdie Fern Cattrell, my teacher, was less than impressed and show a bias against Hispanic kids. PARENTS BEWARE…..here is my story. My son 8th grade, 7th upon entering the LLMS from APS schools has been spec ed since 1st grade due to behavior and social problems associated with ADHD. He as for the most part been is seclusion classes throughout his school years. My son was after two weeks in regular ed classes and suspended from school at the beginning of his 7th grade year, told he could not return until they implemented an off campus seclusion spec ed program. I've had 2 kids go through Country Club and I have 2 enrolled there now and we have LOVED every single teacher!!! They have been attentive and kind and interesting.
i had two of the best teachers and i miss them so much and i want to know what happen to them they had all the things i need to learn
