B. Bernice Young Elementary School - Burlington - Submitted by: william stonehouse Im a: Status Date: 24/09/2009
I believe that having young school children sing a song of praise to President Obama is totally inapproprite. It was like watching North Korean school children sing songs of adulationt to Kim Il Jung. If this is was in the teachers approved lesson plan then the principle and board of education must be held accountable and if not this rogue teacher should be punished.

I am extremely offended by the staff of this school condoning and supporting teaching children a Christian song and replacing Jesus' name with Obama. It is offensive on so many levels. It offends Christians, it offends Conservatives, and it offends anyone against the indoctrination of children. You could have made a song about other great presidents, Washington - Lincoln - FDR... but making one about a currently seated president of extremely questionable ideology and basing the song after a...

Montague Twp. School offers a "One Size Fits All" program to all of it's special needs population ONLY. After 6th grade the district "Washes their hands" of these special needs children and transfers responsibility to the receiving district whereas they are never to be seen or heard from again. Montague Twp. School's only responsibility to these children is their tuition to the receiving district that of which is located outside of the very state of which Montague exists, that being New...
Oak Street Elementary School - Lakewood - Submitted by: Zofia Martinez- Allen Im a: Parent Date: 08/09/2009
Today is my son's first day of school. I'm a little upset because he's my baby, however he's so excited thanks to Ms. Moses. We met at orientation on friday and she was very reassuring that my son would be receiving the best education at Oak Street. My husband and I are very happy and can't wait to here about the big guy and his day. I'd also like to thank Dr. Boxer and the staff for a great orientation, job well done.

This is not a good school to choose, they lie to you in order to get you in the door, and what they say is not what you get. They put very limited information on their website, and they want you to call and speak to a recruiter and the recruiter tells you everything you want to hear after they get the $125 application fee out of you, then they send you all of the information about the school, financing, physical and if you do not meet any of the requirements or you can get the finacing then...
