My Music High School English teacher, Mr. Pappas was a great teacher and an inspiration to me.
This might explain why I was published twice in a class project we put together when I was 17 AND in an Poetry Anthology, that was once in the Library of Congress, that same year.
Since then I've written/edited and published the Hillcrest Terrace Employee Tribune News(letter) for my former employers here in Manchester, NH where I now live with my husband and children.
I am currently the writer/editor/publisher of Henry Wilson Elementary School's Wilson School News(letter) and Monthly Calendar as-well-as the editor of the Manchester School District Title I Parent Advisory Committee's PAC News(letter)
I've also written several op/ed pieces for the local newspapers based here in Manchester including the Manchester Express and the Union Leader.
I have designed websites for various clients including my husband, Robert, who recently ran for Alderman here and will be running for NH State Representative for our area here in Manchester in the fall.
We are also working on starting up a neigborhood newsletter called the Gazette which will cover points of historical interest beginning in our immediate area here in Manchester as well.
Currently I am working on a resume to submit to a paper that is looking for someone to handle the Community Happenings and Police News columns.
All this because I had a great English teacher who showed me I had talent and inspired me to put it ot use for the greater good!!
Thank you Mr. Pappas.
