Pine Ridge Job Corps - Chadron - Submitted by: Kathy Pinkston Im a: Former Student Date: 15/03/2008
I tell you what...Job Corps was one of the best things that happened in my life. It was VERY hard to be there due to the fact that I had a child at the time. I wouldn't go back and change anything about it! I don't know who the staff is now but, our bests were Bill Courtney, Tammy Calamari, Teckla Eleson, Mr and Mrs Anthony, and SOB (Sweet Ol Bill). They were awesome and made it so much easier emotionally. Miss Bonnie and Sandy were good too. I will ALWAYS treasure my time there and the...
Belmont Elementary School - Lincoln - Submitted by: Nancy Im a: Parent Date: 29/02/2008
I have a concern about an incident with my grandson in class on February 28, 2008. The teacher was using racial slange in teaching 3rd grade students. Using the old text term of "white mans disease" instead of a politcally correct phrase. Evidently this subjected the minds of the young children to notice the difference between them in a different manner. I realized that this is a history slange but that is why it is history, in this segragated age of having all nationalities would it not...
Tri View Public Elementary School - Hastings - Submitted by: Nicole Im a: Parent Date: 24/02/2008
Currently, my son attends kindergarten at Triview. I feel very pleased with his coursework thus far. It is rigorous and relevant. In fact, I feel like he's doing in kindergarten what I did in first grade. This small school offers a great deal of indidivualized attention. There are 7 other students in his class. I also enjoy the fact that my son has the opportunity to play and learn from children of all ages. Lunch time and recess are not limited to K-2; all grades socialize together....

Bel Air Elementary School - Norfolk - Submitted by: Susie Seale Im a: Parent Date: 23/01/2008
My name is Susie Seale, my son, Justin Peterson attended Bel Air Elementary for October, 2003 - February, 2005 until we moved BACK to New Jearsy. I have to say, that Bel Air Elementary was by far, the best school my child has ever attended (he has been in 3). The teachersm curriculum and overall education, in my opinion, surpasses the school he attends in New Jersey. Thank you.
