This is a wonderful, unappreciated gem-of-a-school. Before moving to Kalispell, MT from San Francisco, CA, we looked up the school online, because our kids would have to attend this school since we were moving in with our in-laws. This school was ranked as one of the lower achieving schools due to its school population being kids who live in Evergreen, the unicorporated section of Kalispell. Not wanting to just accept this opinion, we decided to visit the school and chat with staff and the principal.
YOU COULD NOT FIND A MORE DEDICATED, LOVING AND HARD-WORKING STAFF ANYWHERE.
Needless to say, three years later we are convinced that East Evergreen school was the right choice for our children. Our youngest is in kindergarten, and LOVING IT.....Our fifth grader thrived and grew TREMENDOUSLY in the nurturing environment, and has now gone on to bigger and better things in the Gifted and Talented program at the Evergreen Jr High!
Do not let anyone tell you this ISNT a FIRST RATE SCHOOL!
