I personally LOVE the whole East Jackson system; I feel the whole system is very strong, not just the Middle School. I didn't rate EJMS because I didn't know if scoring was 1-10 or 10-1. The Middle School is very oriented on the kids's needs. Every year we have a week of where we talk about bullies and bullying and what to do if you're ever in the situation. EJMS doesn't really even have a problem with bullying.
At East Jackson, we have a VERY strong musical program. Our bands recieve the top rating at every district festival along with choir. The musical teachers are VERY well-skilled and lead our band/choir seemingly effortlessly into success.
The regular classroom settings are very nice. The teachers joke around, but are serious when they need to be. The activities our principal, Ms. Jacobs, comes up with are unmatchable. The educational activities are so creative. So, if you're reading this to find an enrollment school, or just because you're bored, know that East Jackson Middle School is a VERY outstandingly exceptional school.
