Charles Wright Academy of Arts and Science is a beautiful school! For every two classrooms there is a connecting conference room and easily assessable bathrooms for students. Classrooms are equipped with televisions, whiteboards, overheads, computers, drinking fountains and lockers for students. While lockers, drinking fountains and in-class bathrooms may seem a minor detail, it helps in keeping track of students inside the classroom and allows for quick transitions. Charles Wright cafeteria offers free and reduced lunch to those who qualify. The media center includes many resources for students including computers.
One of the best qualities about Charles Wright is its staff. Everyone in the school truly cares about each and every child and works together to make it a safe learning environment. The principle and assistant principle are continuously walking through the halls, watching lessons in classrooms, getting to know parents and students, helping teachers in anyway possible and are continuously open to suggestions for school improvement. Safety is another key aspect in this school. All doors are locked at all times and the front door is video monitored by the office making sure all students and visitors are accounted for.
There are endless wonderful comments to make about this school, but one truly needs to go visit in order to see all its wonderful qualities. At any time Mrs. Green is open to accept any child into Charles Wright Academy. The school is located just East of Telegraph off seven mile road on berg.
