i have been to the michigan youth challenge academy 4 times now and the staff is very humble...i'm asking anyone that hasnt already sighned the petition to save the academy to please do so.
its vital for the youths of michigan to get this fresh start and move on to a new more positive life style....for all the staff at MYCA...my hats off to you...god bless you.

I have been reading about your program in the Marshall Advisor for several years..what a wonderful program you have provided for these students..back in 1982---I wish it was offered then--I would have been a High School graduate myself..at that time, the only other option was to take extra classes at Olivet high school in order to graduate with your class...I did not drop out of my senior year, I was so embarrassed about not earning enough credits that I went to the very last day, but did...
I am not someone that normally complains about anything, sense my son has gone to Hollandwoods he has been mistreated by staff and students at this school. He will not be returning back to this school for his 7th and 8th grade term, I will make this short as possible my son had contacted poison ivy and didnt want me to tell the school because of how things are handled there, so I respected his wish took him to the Drs he was able to remain in school no one could catch it, will he was in class...
Eastover was excellent. I had great teachers and an awesome principal every year.
