John D Philbrick - Roslindale - Submitted by: M Im a: Parent Date: 27/04/2008
I have a totally different perspective than the person before me. Curriculum is determined by the school system, BPS, not the individual school. I have found my children to be challenged and encouraged to grow. We are thrilled with the school, the teachers, the safe setting, and the principal. It was hard to see...

They emphasize math and writing and thats about it. I never realized how far behind my child was, unitl I met other children who seem to be learning things at a much faster pace. For example, they barely teach any history, spelling,or any other of the important subjects you would expect your child to learn. You would be amazed at how alot of...
O'bryant High School Math/Science - Boston - Submitted by: Kate Im a: Student Date: 31/03/2008
The O'Bryant School is a very good school and its safe. The teachers are very nice but sometimes they don't help you with the difficultie you have in a subject since the class is large. The math work is challenging which prepares you for the future, math is one of the best classes and ela in my opinion. The school isn't ugly or nice it looks fine. The bathrooms are kept clean.
