Shreve Island has one of the best teaching staff's in Shreveport. My Daughter has been at shreve Island since first grade and I cant speak highly enough about the school. The teachers write extra grants to provide things for their individual classrooms. You also have several teachers with Masters degrees. Coming here from out of state I was worried about the schools in Caddo but Shreve Island proved my fears to be invalied. I am sorry that my daughter savannah will be leaving mrs. Avery's class for middle school next year. Any child would be lucky to call this school there own.
