Ascension College has been a lifesaver. I was tired of working dead-end jobs and decided to go to school to get a higher education. Upon my first visit I was very impressed with how small the classes were and the faculty and staff were very friendly and encouraging. Ascension College has the Gonzales Police Department provide security during both day and night classes. The teachers were very informative and did their best to make sure that everyone understood the material no matter how manny times they had to explain it. I was also impressed with how Ascension College helped people with special needs. They had a hearing impaired student and there was an interpreter there for her. After I completed my course with the assistance of the job placement service that Ascension College offers I had a wonderful career within a month of graduation. I would recommend Ascension College to anyone who was looking for a change or a higher education. They truely do want to help people move forward.
